Here’s what people have been saying:

Un bijou!

So refreshing!

I smiled from beginning to end.

Boy, I feel better after seeing that.

So British!

Beautifully acted.

Wonderful music, images, colours.

CHAPTER 19: PRICK THY NEIGHBOUR SCREENED AT THE BFI SOUTHBANK

Prick Thy Neighbour had its first screening at the BFI Southbank as part of Film London’s ‘London Calling’ showcase on 11 September 2014 to much enthusiasm.

The key creatives of the 24 teams selected for the ‘London Calling’ and ‘London Calling Plus’ funding schemes watched each others’ films throughout the day.  We are so proud to have been a part of this prestigious structure supporting new and emerging writers, directors and producers.

The winning movies: Some Candid Observations on the Eve of the End of the World directed by John Howlett and Two Dosas directed by Sarmad Masud were very well deserved.

CHAPTER 17: PRICK THY NEIGHBOUR IS IN THE CAN!

Prick Thy Neighbour is in the can and in a few days we will have picture lock.  Thanks to our fabulous cast and crew, and despite the dodgy weather, the shoot was a joyful one.  It’s been fascinating seeing the film come together during the editing process…  Sound design, score and colouring to go before handing it in to Film London by the 13th of August!  Very exciting!

CHAPTER 13: FILM LONDON HELPS US BLOSSOM!

Fantastic news!  Prick Thy Neighbour has moved from being short-listed to being selected for London Calling the much sought after Film London Short Film Fund. This scheme (which will be supporting 18 new shorts from teams across the capital) is aimed at giving more opportunities to London’s new and emerging talent.  In addition to funding (£4,000), it provides film-makers with training and mentoring – supporting them every step of the way.  All 18 shorts, as well as the 6 funded under the London Calling Plus scheme (BAME), will be screened at the BFI Southbank, September 2014. We are honored and delighted to have Film London with us on this very wonderful journey…
